1973 - mid 80's:

organization of “Physics clubs” for high-school students (afterwards the clubs are organized by younger colleagues and students)

1987:  

initiator of “Physics correspondence seminar” for high-school students
(with D. Vokrouhlicky; after several years the organization was also passed to younger colleagues and students; the seminar still exists)

1988-1992:  

development of computational and modeling system Famulus
(with T. Ledvinka and M. Sobotka; Famulus was awarded by two “Crystal Disc” at the international exhibition INVEX Computer '91)

1980’s – 2003:  

organization of Summer Math.-Phys. Camps for high school students.
(At first organization of a scientific program, in 1999-2003 main organizer of the camp; then the organization was again passed to a younger generation. The camp exists and evolves further.)

since 1997:  

organization of Spring Camps for future physics teachers
(at first with I. Koudelkova, then with Z. Broklova and others).

since 1999:  

participation at an informal project Heureka for Czech physics teachers
(initiated by I. Koudelkova and B. Bily in about 1992 as an activity for small group of people; since 2000 it evolved into the project comprising more than 15 weekend seminars per year and other activities with about 80 active participants)

2000-2002:  

initiator and co-founder of a web server “Fyzweb” aimed at physics teachers, students at schools and all people interested in physics
(with Ph.D. student J. Houfkova; the server still exists and evolves)

2003:  

The head of Czech delegation at the final event Focus On Teachers  of Physics On Stage II (April 2003, ESA/ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands)

2005-2006:  

coordinator of a university project “Program of further professional in-service training of teachers at Charles University in Prague”

2005-2007:  

coordinator of a university project „Modulární systém dalšího vzdělávání učitelů základních a středních škol v Praze“ podporovaného ESF v rámci programu JPD3

2006-2008:  

coordinator of a faculty project „Další vzdělávání učitelů fyziky a matematiky podporující rozvoj aktivizujících metod výuky“ supported by ESF in program OPRLZ

2006-2008:  

coordinator of a faculty project „Fyzikální vzdělávání pro všestrannou přípravu a rozvoj lidských zdrojů na úrovni základních a středních škol“ in “Národního programu výzkumu II” (National program of Research II of Ministry of Education

+ other activities:  

other projects aimed at pre- and in-service training of physics teachers,
activities aimed at popularization of physics (3-times participation in TV in “Call the Teacher”),
activities in “Science in Streets” event in 2005 and in 2008,
lectures with experiments for physics teachers,
simple experiments in acoustics and waves for high school students, etc.
