Current publication
Science Education, one of the world's most prestigious journals in the field of science education, published a research study of our colleagues Vojtěch Žák and Petr Kolář entitled 'Physics curriculum in upper secondary schools: What leading physicists want'. Thanks to the financial support of Charles University, the article is in Open Access mode, i.e. it is publicly available. The study is significant, among other reasons, because on its basis the creation of a new physics textbook for secondary schools has started.
Eye-tracking research
Our department is currently involved in physics education research by eye-tracking method. The research is carried out by eye-tracker Tobii TX300, which has frequency 300 Hz. More about.... If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us.
